Judith Mumba is a Project Assistant under the  Extension Support Practice at Local Development Research Institute. Previously, she worked as an intern at the department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries at Kilifi-North sub county. Her field of specialization is in Agricultural and Rural Development. She earned a bachelor degree in agricultural economics at Egerton university, and later received a master’s scholarship from African economic research consortium (AERC), under their Collaborative Masters in Agriculture and Applied Economics (CMAAE) program. Her zeal in addressing gender equality in agriculture and food security inspired her to base her research interest on Gendered Risk Attitudes and Vegetable Commercialization of smallholder farmers. She has published a journal article in a peer-reviewed international journal. During her free time, she loves to travel and plan events.
